Institutional Planning

• Provide accurate, candid, timely, and transparent strategic advice and recommendations (with options) for effective decision-making that upholds UC Irvine’s mission.
• Utilize office expertise to ensure that operational tasks and projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Investigate and develop projects/initiatives that improve the campus to meet and enhance UC Irvine’s mission to support research, learning, and the UC Irvine community at large.
• In partnership with Institutional Research and with Assessment, serve as the authoritative source for academic and institutional policies, procedures, and information.
• Advocate for and communicate UC Irvine’s mission and goals to external constituents in a collaborative manner to foster effective and sustainable partnerships.
