Academic Program, School, and Unit Development
The Institutional Planning team supports campus units with academic programming actions.
All academic programming actions must meet campus, UC system, and accreditation requirements. Proposals are reviewed by appropriate review bodies, such as the Academic Faculty Senate, the campus administration, and UC Office of the President (UCOP), and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
Five-Year Planning Perspectives
All programming actions must go through the Five-Year Planning Perspectives (Perspectives) review process.
Program, School, and Unit Proposals
Some programming actions require full proposals. These proposals typically take two years from start to finish.
